Michele Ballagh

Ballagh & Edward LLP was founded in 2009 by Michele Ballagh and Valerie Edward to provide intellectual property law services to Hamilton and southwestern Ontario as well as agency services for clients located around the world.

For almost 10 years, Michele worked at the Hamilton Office of Gowling Lafleur Henderson LLP. In November 2007, Michele set up her own practice and on January 1, 2009, she became a founding partner of Ballagh & Edward LLP.

From 1998 through 2004, Valerie practiced with prominent the Toronto law firms Morris/Rose/Ledgett LLP, Aird & Berlis LLP and then Heenan Blaikie  LLP. In December 2004, Valerie established her own intellectual property practice. On January 1, 2009 became a founding partner of Ballagh & Edward LLP.
